Our Salten upland (height 1400-1500 mt) invites you to short and long walks as it offers more than 300 km of walking pathways.
The pathway net has a wide range and is well signed. Comfortable mountain huts invite you to a have a break with South Tyrolean specialities.
Also the European pathway E5 Bodensee-Adriatic coast crosses the Salten upland to Jenesien.
If you like nordic walking:
The Salten upland is very suitable for this sport. Walking-sticks are available for guests.
In winter the local tourist office organize escursions with the snow shoes.
